Ruth's motivation for this role is to empower whānau members by strength of knowledge, enabling them to enhance their wellbeing.

Beyond the workplace, Ruth values being with her whānau and spends her time reading, movie-watching, and being in the garden. She considers raising her children to become strong and independent adults as one of her most significant accomplishments.

Ruth holds a Bachelor of Nursing and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Chronic Disease Management.
