When Roma was asked what she likes most about her role? Her reply was "I like that I can connect, support, and build relationships with whānau out in the community to ensure they achieve their health outcomes. Helping reduce inequities for our whānau māori in the community."

Outside of mahi Roma enjoys road trips with her whānau, watching her children explore the beach and ngahere. A whole day at home cleaning her whare.

A message Roma would like to tell our community is, "When you see me, come and talk to me. Let me awhi and support you in whatever you are hoping to achieve."

Roma's greatest achievements in life so far are her two daughters and achieving her Nursing degree.

Roma holds a NZ Certificate in Study and Career Preparation Level 4 and a Bachelor of Nursing Degree.
