Youth Navigator
Joined the team at the end of September 2019

What she enjoys most about her role as a Youth Navigator is being able to witness youth overcome their barriers and follow through with their plans right frrom setting their goal, completing each target through to achieving their aspirations. The reward is worth the fight and she is privileged to be a part of their progress.

Te Rangimarie’s message for her whānau she works with is, “With your undivided attention, trust, commitment and motivation to change your life and better your future… I will do the same for you in return.  It’s going to take both of us to make mountains move”.

Te Rangimarie has a deep passion for youth, which is why she facilitates a voluntary group of young women aged 12yrs+ called Legacy Diamonds who meet on a weekly basis.  She is a leader within Youth Nation who meet weekly also.

A born again ‘Daughter of God’, 8 years ago Te Rangimarie gave her heart to Christ - who has been her rock through everything to this day.  A member of Iwi Tapu Hawkes Bay, “I love to empower young women from all backgrounds to become the best version of themselves. Helping them to overcome their struggles with suicide, self-harm, childhood trauma, low self-esteem and anything they may be struggling with”.  Te Rangimarie says that her favourite place to be is at church listening to the word of God.

Te Rangimarie shares that her life took a 360 degree turn around 8 years ago and says, “My story is powerful and I love to share my testimony to empower and inspire other men and women, who may be struggling in life.  I am becoming the BEST VERSION of me”.  

Te Rangimarie has a Level 4 Youth Work Qualification, Level 2-4 in Māori Performing Arts, Screen Acting Level 4 as well as Level 4 in Make Up and Skin Care.
