Jenna
Having spent her younger years in Mahia, Jenna and her family then moved to the Hawkes Bay during her teenager years.
Jenna loves coming to work every day as a Youth Navigator to help our rangatahi achieve their dreams and aspirations. She enjoys helping them to put their best foot forward, to thrive in life and reach their true potential. Jenna says her goal is to help each rangatahi she works with, to step out of their shells, grow into beautiful young adults who know that they can achieve whatever they put their minds to.
Since joining the Te Kupenga Hauora - Ahuriri whānau in September 2019 Jenna says that she has learnt so much in her short space of time in her role.
When asked what message she had for the whānau in our Community Jenna had this to say, “Nothing comes easy. It takes a lot of hard work and determination to get the things you want in life. I am not a quitter. I will persevere and support you the best that I can”.
In her spare time she is always on the go - with her kids and all their sports interests as well as trying to stay fit and healthy herself. During her down time, she enjoys music & reading.
Jenna says her greatest achievement in life is her kids. “We have been through so much together, but no matter what life throws at us, we always come out the other side. Better, stronger and more united than before”.
Jenna has completed a Te Ara Reo Māori - Level 2 course & a has a Certificate in Youth Work - Level 4.
