Joelle's background is in retail management working as Operational Manager. Alot of her background is in HR, ER and around developing and coaching staff. She is excited to be now working here at Te Kupenga Hauora Ahuriri. The kaupapa around serving the community and our Maori whanau is exciting.

Through Joelle's role as Corporate Services Manager she is hoping to enhance and uphold the foundations that have already been laid beforehand. Making sure that our mana is upheld, and our vision of being the leading provider of Kaupapa Maori driven, evidence based, health and social services in the greater Hawkes Bay region continues.

Joelle's interests outside of mahi are spending quality time with whanau and friends. Her dream would be to travel around the South Island in a Campervan with her son. Exploring the rest of beautiful Aotearoa.

When Joelle was asked , "What has been your greatest achievement in life?" Her response was "My greatest achievements to date are my son, who is my pride and joy. Also building my Papakainga at my marae here in Hawkes bay. And taking part in 3 quarter Iron Maori events - cycling.
