Jordan was asked what he most enjoys about his role? His response was, "the opportunity to work side by side with whānau to make dreams become a reality; navigating together to build a prosperous and sustainable future in a whānau centred way".

Outside of mahi Jordan and his whānau run Kahungunu Poitūkohu, a programme which helps rangatahi develop their capabilities, and utilises basketball to connect and inspire whānau.

Jordan's greatest achievement in life is being a husband, parent and grandparent over a 25-year life span.

In Jordan's role they provide support as a hand-up, not a hand-out, in the hope of creating Mana Motuhake for their whānau and not dependency.
