Karen likes using her skills to help others and using creative problem solving and making meaningful connections. She strives to use the values of kindness, understanding and aroha in her work.

Outside of mahi Karen enjoys spending time with whānau and friends, spending time in the bush and doing multiday tramps. She is in her happy place when she is in a creative mode and making art.

Karen’s greatest achievement is having three beautiful daughters.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Nursing.
