Sarah's role enables her to seek opportunities that challenge her. She is also in a position that provides her with opportunities to continuously learn and improve herself and influence programmes that positively impact whānau. TKH has a welcoming atmosphere, and she is privileged to work here alongside dedicated staff who deliver meaningful programmes and support to whānau across our community.
She is a part of a wider leadership team; their role is to ensure that Te Kupenga kaimahi have what they need to support and work effectively with whānau and hapori.
Our staff, come with a range of professional and life experience. They are dedicated to walking alongside you to achieve your goals. So, Sarah's advice to whānau, never be afraid to ask for help.
Outside of mahi Sarah loves being at home with her family,she enjoys baking, cooking gardening and is an avid DIYer. She is an active relaxer, so she is always doing something, or planning her next DIY project.She also has an unhealthy obsession with lawn and backyard transformation videos.
She feels privileged that she can name a few achievements,but her children first and foremost are her greatest achievement. Everything after that has been an added bonus.
Sarah is a Registered Social Worker. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Management and is currently studying towards a Master of Business Studies (Management) through Massey University.
