Te Ata

Social Worker - Kaimahi
Joined the team July 2021

In Te Ata's role she likes that she is able to listen to the children’s voice. Helping them find the light within their darkness. Educating whanau on what the options are out there that can help them overcome the barriers they are facing.

When she was asked what she can do for the whanau and community? Her response was, "I’m not here to tell the whanau and community what to do. I’m here to guide and walk alongside the whanau on there journey to succeed in their goals. I am there to listen to the children’s voices and support the whanau in rising their children."

Outside of mahi, Te Ata enjoys spending time with my whanau and friends, making birthday cakes, weaving Harakeke and loves to cook.

Te Ata's greatest achievement in life so far, is giving birth to her daughter and watching her become the beautiful young lady she has become.

Te Ata holds a Bachelor of Social Worker.
